When I took it out of the dryer, I immediately noticed that the comforter was much lighter and fluffier than before. The noisemaker had definitely been caused by something being caught in there!
I took the comforter back to my room and put it on my bed. I sat there for a while, waiting to hear any noise. But this time, everything was quiet. No more rustling noises coming from inside the comforter!
I was so relieved that I had finally solved the mystery of my duck feather comforter making noise. It turns out that someone had sewn a small toy into the cover that was making the noise when I moved in bed! Now that I had washed it, all of the feathers were nice and fluffy again, and there were no more noises coming from inside my comforter!
