I was so relieved that I immediately put it on my bed and jumped in for a good night's sleep. As I lay there, I could still detect a slight odor, but it was not enough to ruin my experience.
The next day, I called the laundry service to thank them for their great service. They said they were sorry for the inconvenience and were glad that they could help me out in the end.
Since then, I have been much more careful about how often I wash my comforter and have avoided any further incidents of smelly bedding. I also make sure to use a good detergent and rinse it thoroughly each time I wash it.
